The SurveyPro allows for work offline and online.
What is it?
While online, you will have constant access to the move files assigned to your license. If you know your next survey will take place in an area where connection is not strong or you wish to have a move file available under all circumstances then the offline mode can come in handy.
How to select a file to keep offline?
While online, (if you're using iOS) swipe to the left on the move file and the option to download it will show, (if you're using Android) tap and hold on the move file and the option to download it will show.
You can follow this same steps to delete a file.
How to enable it?
To activate the offline mode double-tap on the "SurveyPro" logo on the mid-top of the screen. If activated successfully, you will see a red emoticon on the top right corner. You're now offline.
How can I be sure which files I have downloaded?
You can see which files you have saved by the dot on the left of move file. If there's a dot, that means the file is saved and will remain in your tablet in offline mode. The color of the dot is black.
These dots can also be green. A green dotted file, is the latest dowloaded file you've opened and it is also connected to your menu.
Move files that are created in the offline mode do not have access to Quick Add rooms. We recommend that you create a file ahead of time when you are online and then proceed to use those files. Files created while online, will have access to the Quick Add options.
Every time that you've create a new survey through the device, the app checks the Cloud resources (rooms) and make that information available in the app for you. If the app was offline, it can't get the resources (rooms).
