How to Reuse a Sticker Number After Deleting an Item
While working on an inventory, it's common for the customer to decide that an item should be removed for different reasons. CrewPro includes the option to void an item, but there may be situations where you want to completely delete the item and reuse its sticker number for a different item.
This article explains how to permanently delete an item and assign its sticker number to a new one.
Delete the Existing Item
- Open the inventory List page and go to Inventory List.
- Locate the item you want to remove.
- Select the item and tap the Trash icon.

- Tap Delete to remove it from the inventory list.

- Go to the Items section.
- Locate the same item again.
- Select it, tap the Trash icon once more, and tap Delete again.

Reuse the Sticker Number - Tap Item/Carton to create a new item.
- Tap the Sticker Number field.
- Select the sticker number that was just deleted.
- Choose the new item you want to assign to that sticker number.

- Tap Done or Next Item to save it.
Once the item is saved, CrewPro will automatically continue assigning sticker numbers from the last number that was in use before you reused the previous sticker number.
The deleted sticker number is successfully assigned to the new item, while the automatic sticker numbering continues from the latest sticker number previously in use..png?width=419&height=550&name=Image%20(15).png)
By following these steps, you can permanently remove an item from the inventory and safely reuse its sticker number for a new item. This helps maintain an accurate inventory while allowing you to correct mistakes without disrupting the sticker numbering sequence.
