Mark and sign off High Value/High Risk Items

Items added to a move file can be marked as high value/high risk and need to be signed off individually by the client upon receiving the item(s) at the destination address.

When adding/packing inventory items, the apps have the option to provide extra details regarding that specific item. You can mark items for example as damaged, as electronic or as high value/high risk item. In this article, we will explain how to mark an item as high value/high risk and how to sign off those high value/high risk items upon delivery.

High value/high risk items that are not marked as such and/or not signed off by the client upon delivery might not have (full) insurance coverage.

1.0 Mark item as high value/high risk item:

When you add a new item you can mark the item as damaged, electronic or as high value/high risk within the "extra details" section of inventory/packing screen. To mark an item as High Risk/High Value, tick the box High Risk/High Value and an extra section will open where details and photos can be added regarding the high risk/high value item (e.g. estimated value, brand, model etc.)

Items marked as high value/high risk will show up in your inventory list with an "eye" icon.

1.2 Delivering high value/high risk item(s):

Upon delivery at the destination address, the high value/high risk items are delivered in the same way as the regular items by scanning the items (1), playing bingo (2), delivering all items at once (3) or deliver items individually (4).

When there is an "eye"-icon in front of the inventory item, this indicates that additional details are available regarding the specific inventory item.

After the digital delivery has been done and the documents/reports have been completed, the client needs to sign off on the delivery of all items before finalizing the task. Click on the pen-icon in the signatures section of the task summary, and the signatures screen will open.

1.3 Signing-off delivered item(s):

  1. Clients are required to acknowledge and accept all disclaimers by selecting each corresponding checkbox
  2. Client and foreman sign off the delivery of all items
  3. If items are marked as high value/high risk, a button named "high risk/high value" appears in the bottom left corner of the signatures screen. By pressing the "high value/high risk" button, a pop-up screen named "High Risk/High Value Initials" will appear.

1.4 Signing-off high value/high risk item(s):

When pressing the button "High Risk/High Value" in the left bottom corner of the signatures-screen, a pop-up screen opens with all high risk/high value items to be signed off by the client.

  1. Here you find the details regarding the high risk/high value item (name, make, model, year of purchase etc)
  2. Here you find the photos related to the high risk/high value item. Multiple dots indicate the number of photos
  3. Client signature to be placed to confirm delivery of the high value/high risk item.
  4. Each dot indicate a high value/high risk item
  5. Use the arrows to go to the next or previous high value/high risk item to be signed off.
  6. Once all high risk/high value items are received and signed off by the client, press on the done button and you will go back to the signatures screen.

Each high risk/high value items needs to be signed off individually to confirm the delivery of the high risk/high value item.

1.5 View/share PDF report

When returned to the signatures screen, you can view and share the report of the delivered items with the client by click on the "view report (PDF preview)" button.

Tasks cannot be finalized when high value/high risk items are not signed off individually. Upon finalizing, a pop-up will appear as a reminder.
