SurveyVideo requires access to your camera and microphone

You’ve scheduled a video survey with a client using SurveyVideo. SurveyVideo will request access to the camera and microphone of your device. You will need to grant this access, otherwise the surveyor will not be able to see or hear you.

SurveyVideo will request the access right after you’ve tapped on “Connect”. If you have not granted the access and want to correct it, here are some tips.

On iOS

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Scroll down to Privacy.
  3. Tap on Camera.
  4. Find the SurveyVideo app.
  5. Enable the access by tapping the switch on the right side. The access is granted once the switch is green. 
  6. Tap on Microphone.
  7. Find the SurveyVideo app.
  8. Enable the access by tapping the switch on the right side. The access is granted once the switch is green.
  9. You're good to go!

On Android

  1. Open the Settings app.
  2. Select Apps and notifications.
  3. Tap on See all apps.
  4. Find SurveyVideo in your list of apps. 
  5. Tap on Permissions. 
  6. Tap on Camera and allow. 
  7. Do the same for Microphone and Storage.
